In this position, Bunmi is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships across EMEA’s emerging and developed markets. As a member of the extended MS Airband Initiative team Bunmi participates in affordable connectivity and digital access projects, with a view to introducing clean, ethical technology to rural communities facilitating development and the realization of potential. An advocate for, inclusive, sustainable, humanistic leadership, Bunmi leads the Underrepresented Ethnic Group (UEG, BAME) initiatives for the Women@Microsoft UK Board. With a passion for race, gender and youth empowerment and technology, Bunmi is dedicated to elevating all voices, particularly those of underrepresented groups. Through the Global Future Observer Initiative she founded in 2018, Bunmi aims to increase inclusion and participation of young people at industry events. In 2019, Bunmi was recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential BAME Leaders in UK Tech by the Financial Times and Inclusive Boards.
